Oakland, CA – Nov 14, 2011 – Barney & Barney LLC, one of California’s largest and longest-standing insurance brokerages, has been named the exclusively-endorsed health insurance broker for the life science associations, BayBio and BIOCOM. These two preeminent life science associations represent over six hundred biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, clean tech and diagnostic companies throughout Northern and Southern California. Barney & Barney has launched a program that will allow BayBio and BIOCOM to provide their member companies with as little as five employees access to discounted, group-underwritten, health care benefits. Both organizations provide savings and benefits to their members that do not exist in the normal marketplace, and this program is no exception.BayBio and BIOCOM spent almost two years evaluating brokers, carriers and existing association benefits plans before awarding this opportunity to Barney & Barney LLC’s Beyond Benefits program.
